Timesheet Questions

Quick help
Q1 How do I calculate total hours if I take multiple unpaid breaks?
To calculate net work hours, compute the total elapsed time between your clock-in and clock-out timestamps, then subtract the sum of all unpaid breaks (expressed in minutes or decimal hours) from that total.
Q2 How are minutes converted to decimal format in timesheets?
Minutes are converted by dividing the number of minutes by 60. For example, 15 minutes is 0.25 hours, 30 minutes is 0.50 hours, and 45 minutes is 0.75 hours. The calculator does this conversion automatically.
Q3 What is the standard overtime threshold in labor laws?
In many jurisdictions (such as the US FLSA), the standard overtime threshold is 40 hours per workweek. Any additional hours worked must be paid at a rate of at least 1.5 times the regular pay rate. Some states also enforce a daily 8-hour overtime trigger.
Q4 Can I save my timesheets to edit them later?
Yes, you can export your current timesheet log to a CSV or PDF file to save a local record. You can also print the page directly to physical paper or virtual PDF printers for official submission.
Q5 Are my work shifts, hourly wages, or timesheet logs sent to the server?
No, never. All daily timesheet entries, hourly billing structures, break deductions, and gross pay calculations are computed completely client-side in your local browser sandbox. No parameters are uploaded to external databases.
