Common Questions Answered

Quick help
Q1 How do I switch between Degrees and Radians?
Simply click the "Deg" or "Rad" toggle button on the screen layout parameters. This switches the trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan) to resolve using degrees or radians respectively.
Q2 What is the difference between Log and Ln keys?
The "Log" button represents the common logarithm (base 10 log), whereas the "Ln" button represents the natural logarithm (base e logarithm, where e is approximately 2.71828).
Q3 Can I calculate factorials of fractional numbers?
No. The standard factorial function (x!) only supports positive integers (e.g. 4! = 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 24).
Q4 Does it support complex imaginary numbers?
This scientific calculator resolves standard real number expressions and outputs decimal solutions. Complex imaginary numbers (i) are not currently supported.
Q5 Is my equation history cached when I exit the site?
No. To ensure absolute privacy, the equation history is kept strictly in-memory client-side and is automatically destroyed when the tab is reloaded or closed.
