Common Questions Answered

Quick help
Q1 How does the Add/Subtract Durations calculator handle carry-over?
It aggregates all seconds and minutes, converts every block of 60 seconds to 1 minute, and every block of 60 minutes to 1 hour, providing you with a clean normalized output of hours, minutes, and seconds.
Q2 What happens if a time difference spans past midnight?
If the end time is earlier than the start time, the calculation automatically assumes that the end time belongs to the following day (a cross-midnight span) and computes the positive duration correctly.
Q3 Can the Date Offset calculator subtract time?
Yes. You can switch the operation dropdown in the Date Offset tab from "Add (+)" to "Subtract (-)" to find calendar dates in the past.
Q4 Is there any limit to the amount of rows I can add in Addition mode?
No. You can add as many rows of durations as needed by clicking the "+ Add Row" button in the Add/Subtract tab.
Q5 Are my time parameters sent to any server?
No. The Time Calculator operates 100% inside your browser's sandboxed environment. Your time sheets, durations, and dates are never sent to external servers or logged anywhere.
